Ride Strong | Training for Cyclists & Triathletes

Why Strength Train?

Strength training for cyclists, specifically for the upper body, isn't just about bulging biceps—it's about enhancing performance and endurance on the bike. By targeting muscles in the arms, shoulders, and core, this training regimen improves overall stability and posture, crucial for maintaining efficiency and power output during long rides. Additionally, a strong upper body helps cyclists maneuver their bikes more effectively, especially in challenging terrain or during sprints. Strengthening these muscle groups can also prevent fatigue-induced slumping, reducing the risk of injury and ensuring riders stay in optimal form throughout their cycling adventures. 

What Can I Expect from the Workouts?

 

Our workout format is structured to optimize performance and promote long-term well-being.


  • Format: We prioritize the importance of stretching to prepare your body for movement and to prevent injury. Our dynamic stretching helps increase blood flow to the muscles, improve range of motion, and mentally prepare you for the workout ahead.
  • Strength Training: The workout utilizes a functional training approach and incorporates targeted exercises to strengthen key muscle groups including the upper body, core, and smaller muscles in the legs. By engaging in a variety of strength training exercises, you'll tone and build muscle mass, improve muscular endurance, and enhance overall stability and posture.
  • Lubricating Joints and Increasing Flexibility: We understand the significance of maintaining healthy joints and maximizing flexibility, particularly in the legs where many of our daily movements originate. Through specialized exercises and movements, we focus on lubricating the joints and increasing flexibility in the legs and hips, allowing for smoother, more fluid movement patterns and reducing the risk of injury.

Group Size and Pricing

The cyclist workout programs are structured as Team Training sessions and priced accordingly.
